Our favorite deep boi and water boi hero is back to wield his trident and protect his people.
With the release of Zack Snyders Justice League Just weeks away, the filmmaker has been using social media to create more excitement by dropping character-related teasers. The latest teaser trailer has been released by the director Zack Snyder on Twitter on Saturday afternoon. The new teaser shows Aquaman himself (Jason Momoa) and features both new and old footage of our favorite Atlanticist with several well-known voices providing background commentary.
Eagle-eyed fans may be able to tell the difference between footage from the 2017 Justice League and Snyder’s new cut, but the voiceovers we hear are especially exciting. Willem DafoeNuidis Vulko appears to be warning Arthur Curry that he cannot turn his back on the world forever Gal Gadot‘s Wonder Woman points out that it has been thousands of years since the Amazons and Atlanteans spoke. However, given the increasing threat from Steppenwolf and his Parademon army, it looks like Aquaman will have to accept his fate and take up his mother’s trident in order to lead his people and ultimately help save the world.

Previously, Snyder also shared teasers for both Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill), and if that trend continues, we’ll undoubtedly get a few more character-specific insights. With International Women’s Day just around the corner on Monday, could this be the time to drop something with our favorite Amazon goddess Wonder Woman? Given that three Justice League members are still in the spotlight and there are still a few days left before the movie’s streaming premiere, it stands to reason that we’re only halfway through these teasers as of now. This round of teasers, centered on a single Justice League member, follows an intriguing Mother Box Snyder Cut teaser that premiered at IGN Fan Fest earlier this month. This teaser, also revealed by Snyder, included clues and Easter eggs about all six members of the Justice League through intriguing and detailed CG animation.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released on HBO Max on March 18th. The running time is four hours. Check out the new Solo Aquaman teaser and poster below:
