The restored deleted scene from the Muppet Christmas story is actually a vacation miracle

The shadows from Muppet Christmas Carol Past show up on Home Video

At Brian Henson's insistence, The Muppet Christmas Carol would appear in its unchanged form on VHS and Laserdisc, and eventually on the movie's first DVD release. As a result, a lot of Muppet fans, young and old, got the opportunity to make themselves comfortable with “When Love Is Gone”. Restored in the film, the song was able to fully work out its counterpart, the closing number “When Love Is Found,” which Scrooge sees as a changed man singing with those he now calls family. Surely this was the end of the story, and “When Love Is Gone” would never go out of print again? Well…
