Mandalorian executive producer Dave Filoni teased the third season with a positive update on May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. In an appearance on the morning talk show Good Morning America, Filoni addressed the big day celebrated by war of stars Fans worldwide. He also talked about the premiere of his new animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch, which is now airing its first episode on Disney +.

With so much anticipation for the third season of The MandalorianFiloni was asked to touch what fans can expect. For his part, Filoni refuses to reveal certain information and finds that Jon Favreau is the one asking to find out more. Even so, he teases that the fans will be pleased as “the force will be strong with it”. From the interview:
“That’s a tricky question! I don’t like going into those answers as much as Jon, my partner Jon Favreau and all that. It’s exciting, we’re both working on it, we’re working on it [The Book of] Boba Fett now. So there are many new adventures to come. I have to be careful, I can’t really say anything in particular, but I think the power will be strong with that. We’ll just say that. ”
The Mandalorian was created by Jon Favreau and is produced by Favreau, Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson. The series starring Pedro Pascal follows a bounty hunter who is on the run after he finds “The Child”, also known as “Baby Yoda”. The series was an instant hit for Disney + and was widely recognized by fans and critics along with an Oscar nomination for the Outstanding Drama Series at the Academy Awards. Two seasons of the show have been released, and a third is currently in the works.
Filoni also spoke about Star Wars: The Bad Batch, a new animated series that Filoni created for Disney +. The series is a spin-off and a sequel to Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Dee Bradley Baker returns to speak out about the clone troops. Michelle Ang also plays Omega, a new character who joins the Bad Batch on her missions. On Good Morning America Dave Filoni explained how he was inspired to create the series for fans of The Clone Wars.
“A lot of kids grew up with the Clone Wars and they’re much older now. So we wanted to tell a story that explains what they do when something they fought for, believed in, changed and that of them Republic has become The Evil Empire I saw in Star Wars. We see them try to survive this and the friends they make along the way. ”
Season 3 of The Mandalorian doesn’t have a premiere date yet, but the first two seasons can be streamed on Disney + at any time. The new series Star Wars: The Bad Batch premiered on May 4th, also known as Star Wars Day, on the Streamer. The first episode is available now. That news comes from Good Morning America.
