Daft Punk's 2007 tour is unique in that it is a current item on the bucket list for many fans who wish they could travel back in time and experience these moments in person. However, on a new tour, which is virtually unbelievably unlikely, we'll have to rely on old, found footage to really relive these shows.
Thankfully, some new, previously unrecirculated, high quality recordings from their Lollapalooza 2007 performance have gone online. According to the notes at the beginning of the video, that footage was mixed live for the screens at the venue, so it's a direct feed from in front of the house and in super high quality.
It's the same set as the Coachella 2006 set, but the video quality is miles better than the stitched found footage from that show. The first stage production of its kind was the setting for all modern stage productions – see below!
