QUIX and Juelz stopped their fiery collaboration “Chicane” back in August, and the official remixes only fell yesterday, giving the track-worthy … track a whole new perspective.
With six remixes from Kumarion, MSFT, CORTR, MashBit, GLD and Capshun, the variety of bass styles is absolutely breathtaking. Kumarion comes with an updated, almost neuro-DnB flair. MSFT comes with the heavy riddim, supported by some melodic stitches. CORTR is very popular in the space bass with glittering synthesizers and detuned arpeggios. GLD is one of two that sticks somewhat to the original Trap stylings but has a much heavier and fuller array of synthesizers and basses. The other trap remix is Capshun, which goes in a completely different direction with staccato stabs and a stronger emphasis on this unique synth patch.
No disrespect for the others' remixes, which are wonderful on their own, however MashBit absolutely caught on his remix. “Chicane” takes the original and simply runs with it. It becomes a melodic future bass anthem with an incredible guitar solo and breathtaking melodies. This one was built from the ground up with a lively style and appreciation and shows off clearly.
“Both Juelz and me and our team have spent the last two months getting some incredible remixes for Chicane! From your classic trap remixes to dnb flips, all of the remixes explore the endless potential emotions you can draw from the original mix and a lot more! “- QUIX
"This is actually the first time I've released official remixes of my music. I'm really excited about how big these all were." – Juelz
