Sometimes the greatest movie moments happen far away from any camera.
To the Matthew LewisIt was a dream come true to star in the Harry Potter series as Neville Longbottom. But in a new interview, the actor recalled a day on the set that he will never forget.
While appearing on the Inside of You podcast, Matthew shared a memory with the deceased Alan Rickman that he will cherish forever.
“On his last day, I went to his trailer,” he recalled. “And I said to him, ‘Hey, I know it’s your last day, and I just wanted to say that it was amazing to have worked with you for so long. I know we didn’t really talk much, but i just wanted to say it was because i was scared but you were amazing thank you for letting me work with you for 10 years and never yelling at myself or treating any of us as less than your equal. ‘”
So what happened next? Alan invited Matthew for a drink in his trailer.
