Luke Combs responds to the truth that he’s almost certainly to be named for crying on the 2020 CMA Awards
It's been a nice crazy night for Luke Combs at the the 2020 CMA Awards.
The artist was named Album of the Year and Singer of the Year at the ceremony on Wednesday November 11th Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker had another honor in mind for the 30-year-old singer: most likely crying during an acceptance speech.
After Combs won big at the awards show, he responded in an exclusive interview with E! On the tearful superlative. News.
"I think that's probably pretty much valid man," he said. "I've been known to shed a tear or two. I think I was more shocked than anything. I never expect to win anything. I'm never the type of guy who feels I deserve something. You know I just went up there and said how I felt had to be said. I'm glad I didn't cry. That would have saved me a bit of embarrassment I think. But I've been known to cry in the past, so I'm not surprised that was her answer. "
