Legislation & Order: Organized Crime Premieres Instantly After the SVU Crossover Episode – Discover Out When
The moment many Law & Order: SVU fans have been waiting for now has an official countdown.
TVLine has learned that Olivia Benson and her former partner, Elliot Stabler, will be back together in the SVU episode on April 1st. And this hour is followed by the premiere of the Stabler-centered Law & Order: Organized Crime, which will be played that evening at 10.9. Bows.
In other NBC planning news, Zoey's extraordinary playlist is traced back to Sundays this spring (more on that here), and Manifest and Good Girls are finally coming off the bank (more on that here).
Organized Crime will follow Chris Meloni's SVU character when he returns to the New York City Police Department after the show's official logline called a "devastating personal loss". As he begins to put the bits and pieces of his life back together, he joins a high-level task force dedicated to dismantling the city's largest crime syndicates.
The cast also includes Dylan McDermott (The Practice) and Tamara Taylor (Bones).
Mariska Hargitay and Meloni from SVU recently published photos that were taken while filming the crossover. The upcoming reunion is a big deal in the SVUverse: Meloni left SVU at the end of season 12 after his contract negotiations stalled, and so Stabler withdrew from the police between seasons. When season 13 began, Olivia was devastated to learn that her partner had left without saying goodbye.
