Claudia Conway wants to succeed where her mother's former employer couldn't by securing America's voice.
The 16-year-old daughter of Donald Trump's former senior counselor Kellyanne Conway appears in a new promo for the upcoming 19th season of American Idol that blew up Twitter during Monday's episode of The Bachelor.
"I'm very nervous, but very excited," says Conway in the promo, describing her parents as "high-profile political figures" during their dramatic meeting with the judges.

While this is sure to surprise most readers, it should be noted that Conway pointed to her involvement on the ABC show in late 2020 when she posted a TikTok with current Idol judge Katy Perry. (Other judges include Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan, with Ryan Seacrest also returning to host.)
Conway is certainly not the first public figure with political connections to make the leap onto reality television. Let's take a moment to remember Sarah Palin's memorable performance of "Baby Got Back" on "The Masked Singer" or Sean Spicer's haunting movements during his "Dancing With the Stars" season. In all fairness we could list more examples, but we've done enough damage for one night.
