Is WandaVision able to unleash an enormous Avenger: Endgame Cameo?

Will WandaVision have a huge role? Avengers: Endgame Miniature? It has already been confirmed that the long-awaited Disney + series will be directly linked to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but it looks like it could be even more direct than originally thought. Not much is known about the series at the moment other than the fact that it features Scarlet Witch and Vision in a bizarre alternate reality framed by classic sitcoms from the last few years.

A Twitter user found extra WandaVision Casting information on Chrome TV's casting list for the series. According to the listing, actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be starring from Doctor Stephen Strange. How this will work is unclear, but it seems reasonable to believe that Doctor Strange will show up towards the end of season one to start Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. As usual, Marvel Studios do an excellent job of keeping everything under wraps. So the casting of Cumberbatch has yet to be announced.

It has been speculated why Doctor Strange appears in WandaVision. He will be the one charged with getting Wanda Maximoff out of her alternate reality. Kevin Feige, head of Marvel Studios, has said several times that the Disney + shows will be directly linked to the big screen projects, so it wouldn't be too shocking to see Benedict Cumberbatch on the upcoming series. However, it is possible that the casting information is simply inaccurate. Elizabeth Olsen plays a role in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, so this could be the cause of the confusion. For now we just have to wait and see.

Fortunately, we don't have to wait too long to see WandaVision. The Disney + series is scheduled for release on January 15th and will be streamed every Friday for the next 8 weeks. Neither Disney nor Marvel Studios have confirmed that the first season will consist of 8 episodes, but it makes sense when you look at the release model of The Mandalorian, which worked well for Disney and Lucasfilm. Even so, Marvel Studios like to do things on their own terms so we'll have to wait for confirmation.

In addition to WandaVision, Disney + also has The Falcon and The Winter Soldier on the horizon alongside Loki. All three shows are believed to debut in 2021, with the latter coming out in March and May, respectively. What if …?, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, Moon Knight, Hawkeye, Secret Invasion, Iron Heart, Armaments Wars and I'm Groot will be coming to Disney in the near future. All of this in addition to the large-screen projects that will be published over the next few years. Jordan's Twitter account was the first to find Benedict Cumberbatch's casting information for WandaVision.
