Hardwell ends the decades-long radio present with the epic finale On Air 500 [LISTEN]

It's the end of an era as Hardwell drops his explosive radio show for the grand finale – Hardwell On Air 500.

The Powerhouse Mix runs for a decent hour and contains a dozen brand new IDs, the manufacturer's newly published “Boathouse ID” as Jaxxwell (With Blasterjaxx) and a handful of other ID remixes of Hardwell favorites. Plus music from Tommy Jayden & Artelax, Tim Hox, Dastic, Ewave, Arston, Dash Berlin & ANG, REGGIO x Rave Republic, and Dr. Phunk.

It's been almost a decade since Hardwell On Air debuted in 2011, broadcasting from the Netherlands, rocking the waves of air with fist-pumping dance music. The radio show advocated the Hardwell sound, showing the best in big room, electro, progressive and more.

Hardwell has been on hiatus since 2018 – he's still working on music but has yet to get back on stage. In an interview for 2020, he discussed when and whether he will celebrate a comeback:

The honest answer is: I don't know. I'm working on a lot of music right now and I get happier every day when I get back to the studio. (…) I want to feel these butterflies in my stomach before I get on stage, but I want to get them in the studio now. The moment I get this feeling, this crazy excitement, I'm right back.

Hear one last time the soundtrack of your nightlife, Hardwell On Air 500!
